A Short Biography about Scott

Scott C. Hamilton was born in New Jersey in 1967.  He has been drawing since the age of 5 when he copied a picture of Superman making a peace sign in a comic book ad.  The art bug had bitten!

A self-taught illustrator and caricature artist, Scott looked up to his Grandpa Paul who was a newspaper cartoonist in New Hampshire.  Whenever he visited he would draw with him and enjoyed learning about his life.

Joining the NCN (National Caricaturist Network) in 2008, Scott took on the role of treasurer for the organization.  He met and drew with hundreds of other caricature artists from all over the world.  In 2009 the name of the non-profit was changed to the 'Internation Society of Caricature Artists' to reflect the worldwide diversity.

Scott resides in Massachusetts and draws in his home studio with traditional media as well as on his iPad where he enjoys illustrating with a special love for superhero characters!
